INDIVIDUALS (18+) TELEHEALTH Michelle has a Bachelor's degree in English, with a specialization in writing. Through her time in that program, she realized a passion for communication and how it could be used to improve the wellbeing of others. She then recieved a Master's degree from Vanderbilt University, specializing in Human Development Counseling. The skills learned from both academic programs: listening, exploring narratives, drawing connections, and human development, naturally led to the person-centered approach that deeply informs her interactions with others. Michelle belives in partening with each client to understand their unique expereinces and perspectives. She provides a safe and accepting space to clients of all backgrounds, in which an exploration of the past or present, and the personal strengths, values, and goals. To support the therapeutic process, she focuses on exploring personal narratives, strengthening systems of support, developing new communication and coping skills. She works with adult clients dealing with issues related to pregnancy and postpartum, infertility, parenting, grief and loss, anxiety, stress management, and life tranditions.
