INDIVIDUAL COUNSELING (AGES 5-30) WHITE HOUSE Emily earned her Master of Arts in Clinical Mental Health Counseling from Liberty University and her Bachelor of Social Work from Jacksonville State University. She is currently pursuing licensure in the state of Tennessee under the supervision of Stephanie Finch, LPC-MHSP-S. Emily is passionate about creating a safe, supportive environment where clients feel heard and valued throughout their therapeutic journey. She takes a systems-based approach, working with families to support the client both inside and outside the therapy office. Her clinical work draws from Play Therapy and Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), tailored to meet the unique needs of each individual. Emily enjoys working with children (ages 5 and up), adolescents, and adults navigating anxiety, emotional regulation challenges, and life transitions. She values the role of the family in the healing process and integrates family therapy when beneficial, often collaborating with parents to develop effective strategies for home. Having experienced the importance of prioritizing mental health in her own life, Emily brings empathy and authenticity to her work. She is honored to walk alongside individuals as they process difficult emotions and move toward greater wellness.
