Kristin obtained her Master's in Clinical Social Work from The Ohio State University in 2006 and a Bachelor's Degree in Psychology from Miami University in 2001. She has been a licensed Therapist since 2006, initially in Ohio, and transferred her license to Tennessee in 2017. As an approved LCSW Supervisor with the State of Tennessee since 2025, Kristin provides supervision for post-graduate Social Workers and Counselors, and is contracted with The Healing Journey as an Internship Supervisor.

Kristin enjoys working with children aged 12+, adolescents, and adults. She has significant experience helping individuals with anxiety, stress, self-esteem, life transitions, and trauma. She is trained in EMDR and provides treatment through a trauma-informed perspective.

She is passionate about providing a safe, secure, and comfortable environment where you can explore, grow, and achieve goals. Kristin engages with her clients to provide a personalized therapeutic experience, building a path to better well-being. Furthermore, her hope is for you to continue to succeed independently beyond your therapeutic experience.
