INDIVIDUALS (12+) WHITE HOUSE Jennifer received her Master's degree in Clinical Mental Health Counseling from Trevecca Nazarene University, as well as a Master's in Christian Counseling from Southern Baptist Theological Seminary. She is currently pursuing licensure as an LPC_MHSP under supervision. She has worked in the mental health field for over 18 years, both in the school system (private and public) as a mental health counselor /school counselor and as counseling director for a non-profit agency in Sumner County for 12 years. Passionate about helping her clients work toward freedom, healing, and health, she creates a judgment-free space where clients feel free to share their stories. She uses a person-centered approach, incorporating techniques of cognitive behavioral therapy, solution focused therapy, strength-based modalities, and sandtray. She is trained in EMDR, which can be utilized for PTSD and other trauma-related symptoms. Jennifer enjoys working with teenagers and adults who are experiencing anxiety, depression, ptsd or trauma-related stressors, self-esteem issues, grief, conflict, and life transition issues.
